Assessing the impact of science centres in England

We are delighted to share with you the Government-commissioned report into the impact of UK Science and Discovery Centres.

This Independent research was commissioned by The Science and Society team within The Department for Business Innovation and Skills (BIS, formerly DIUS) following The Select Committee debate on the 15th May 2008. The research was undertaken by Frontier Economics.

This research began with a comprehensive survey sent to all UK science and Discovery Centres. The results were analysed by Frontier Economics in combination with more in-depth case studies of five English centres; The Eden Project, Explore-at-Bristol, Intech, Catalyst and Thinktank.
