Craig Smith

Project Manager (freelance)

Craig works with the ASDC team supporting with the National Conference and STEM engagement projects, most recently the Valuing Inclusion project.

Craig is a known project manager, content developer, speaker and facilitator. His work focuses on creating impactful learning and engagement experiences, with a particular angling towards sustainability, climate action, and environmental and social justice. Craig’s experience comes from over a decade of working across STEM teaching and learning, including festival event management, science centre departmental and team management, and outdoor and experiential learning programme design.

Currently, Craig is working with the Museums Association on the transformative Mindsets + Missions for Museums and Science Centres of the Future programme, and the connected Bold Futures programme. He also recently worked with ASDC to help deliver and report on the STFC Impact community engagement programme across several UK science centres. Craig’s work underscores a steadfast commitment to shaping the future of inclusive, equitable, and accessible STEM education.
