The 2022 ASDC Conference was the first in-person conference for three years, bringing people together at Glasgow Science Centre, one of our largest and most inspirational, flagship venues in the science and discovery centre and museum sector.
The conference took place over 2 days from 28-29th September, with in-depth workshops, activities, the AGM, a networking dinner and a full day of inspiring keynotes, discussion tables, lightning talks and workshops.
The theme for this conference was Inspiring a New Culture of Science. Delegates enjoyed time and space to make new connections and form collaborations, share ideas and inspiring practice across the informal science learning sector as they explored a future vision where science is accepted as a fundamental, meaningful and accessible part of everyday life.
Delegates had the opportunity to take a virtual flight as part of the Newton Flight Academy, an immersive new experience at Glasgow Science Centre. A thrilling experience and a first at an ASDC Conference!
