Panel presentation: Breaking down the barriers: building a climate consensus
In tackling the global climate and environmental emergency we’re facing, there is an urgent need for organisations like ours to engage as many people as possible in becoming part of the solution. In this panel session, Kew Gardens, Natural History Museum and Eden Project will highlight the work we are doing to become more inclusive institutions. Through building internal consensus and reflecting on our practices, we are finding effective ways to remove barriers - economic, physical, psychological and/or social - for those who are not able to visit or connect with us. By engaging with them, we are actively learning from our communities and incorporating their voices and opinions into our decision making. This promises to be a stimulating panel discussion and we welcome your contribution. Juliet will be joined by Julia Willison: Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, Emma Slater: Natural History Museum and Eleanor Cocks: Royal Botanic Gardens Kew.
