Workshop: Beyond the one-off: embedding and valuing university and science centre/museums partnerships
Valuing a range of benefits that come from long term university / science centre relationships, this session explores three different approaches to these place-based relationships, sharing the learning and discussing the different strategic approaches to partnership, from science centre and researcher perspectives. Biography
Dr Nathalia Gjersoe has been Scientific Consultant for programme development at the BBC and Apple TV+. For several years she co-led the Guardian Science Blog ‘Head Quarters’ and has worked with the Royal Institute of Science to develop evaluation strategies for large-scale public engagement science events. She is currently a Senior Lecturer in Developmental Psychology and Wellbeing at the University of Bath. Nathalia will be speaking about her collaboration with We The Curious Science Museum (Bristol) to examine developmental change in children’s interaction with robots and to create platforms for public discourse about robotics.
