Panel Presentation: Improve accessibility and become more welcoming to a wider audience!!!!
Over the past four years the Life Science Centre and North East Autism Society have been working in partnership to give the autistic community a voice and through doing so have increased accessibility within the centre. Don’t take our word for it. Zoe a 13-year-old autistic child, will tell you if the community has a respected voice. Through sharing inspirational practices, this session will bring this award-winning partnership to life, enabling you to see communities through a new lens. Kerrie will be joined by David Jones, Community Liaison Manager, International Centre for Life, Zoe King an advocate and speaker on autism, and Zoe's mother Nic King, an educator, trainer and writer on autism.
