Income diversification in science centres
What works well? What are the challenges? Are there opportunities for collaboration?
Wednesday 11th October, 11-12pm
(please note the change of time from the usual forums)
This forum brings together ASDC members from around the UK to discuss the important topic of income diversification. Speakers will be sharing some of the new (and not so new) ideas for generating income in science and discovery centres, looking at what works well, the challenges and opportunities. Come and work together with peers to explore potential income streams for your organisation. As always, the forum will provide an opportunity for members to ask questions and discuss challenges in this open and honest members-only session.
We will be joined by Dora Roden, Project Manager at the Scottish Seabird Centre, Katie Williams, Business Development Officer, Xplore! and Victoria Denoon, Head of Visitor Experiences at W5 who will be sharing some of their organisation's strategies for income diversification.
Please share this email with colleagues from your operations, finance and marketing teams – it will be really valuable to hear from the key people who influence how your organisation measures the success of new income streams.
