Explore Your Universe: Valuing Inclusion Training Academy
Monday 5th February, 10am - 4pm at the Wellcome Trust Offices, London
This national STEM project training academy is for participating science centres and their community partners who will be invited to this in-person ‘Evaluation 101’ training deep-dive, run by ASDC and informal science learning evaluators and researchers from UCL, University of Bath and Cardiff University.
The academy will support confidence and skills in the co-development of evaluations with community partners, alongside ethical requirements. As part of the day we will explore the areas of the Logic Model that each proposed project is investigating, and drill down into the specifics of most appropriate methods and tools for use in evaluations. There will also be opportunities for science centres and community partners to share ideas, experiences, successful methods and inspiring practice. A detailed programme will be shared nearer the time.
ASDC will reimburse each organisation for travel and accommodation based on a budget of approximately £250 per person. Catering will be provided at the venue on the day of the event. You will need to complete the Expense Claim Form (below) and attach any relevant booking confirmations and receipts.
ASDC mileage policy is that you can claim back 45p per mile.

Arrival info: All visitors will have to come to Wellcome Trust Reception on 215 Euston Road main entrance. Please note the Wellcome office entrance is in the glass building right by Euston Square Tube station, not the Collection entrance in the stone building. Attendees will each get a visitor pass and be gathered in Reception and escorted to the event room.
Rail Strikes
Please note there are unfortunately planned rail strikes between 30th January and 5th February, you can check if these will disrupt your travel at the National Rail website.
