'Our World From Space' Training Academy
Date: 3 - 4th July
10am-5pm
Location: National Space Centre, Leicester
Our World From Space leverages current learning and connections from two previous ASDC programmes, Destination Space and Operation Earth, to celebrate, engage and inspire audiences with UK Earth observation science, innovation and skills. The programme is majority funded by the UK Space Agency, in partnership with Natural Environment Research Council (NERC), part of UK Research and Innovation.
ASDC has been developing new content and resources with an expert team from National Centre for Earth Observation, Dynamic Earth, National Space Centre and Science Oxford.
We're delighted to invite you to the training academy where you will be introduced to the key themes of the programme and a range of new fun and engaging activities and resources to take back to your organisation and incorporate into the delivery of this programme.
What to expect
An in-depth, 2-day national training academy for science engagement practitioners from science and discovery centres and museums across the UK taking part in Our World From Space programme, providing inspiration, information, skills and networking opportunities.

- Live demonstrations of new hands-on kit and resources
- Screening of NSC Creative 'We are Guardians' Planetarium Show
- Networking opportunities to enjoy and learn from each other's challenges and inspiring practice
