Do you need to be more strategic with your organisation’s social media?
This series of mini workshops will help you and your team get your social media strategy sorted!
Run for ASDC members only, these social media strategy workshops will give you the opportunity to focus on your science centre or museum's digital strategies and social media planning. Each week our facilitator, Royal Institution Social Media Manager Steven Franklin, will be sharing his knowledge and expertise as he guides you through his secrets to social media success.
This will be a great opportunity to learn with colleagues from similar organisations across the science and discovery network, bouncing ideas around and sharing what works - and what doesn't.
About the workshops
Starting on Thursday 12th Sept, there will be 3 x 1hr workshops running for three consecutive weeks. Each workshop will be from 10.30-11.30am.
- Content is unique to science centres and museums (see outline for each week below)
- Sessions will be recorded and slides provided.
- We will be creating a shared working space with links, resources and examples of best practice.
- A working group will be created as part of the first session to support and guide people through the workshops, answering questions outside the workshop time and to build confidence within the group.
- Each week there will be tasks to complete and share to make best use of the time and support hands-on learning.
