Wednesday 7th June, 2-3pm
Join colleagues from science centres and museums around the UK for this ASDC members' forum on working effectively with volunteers as we celebrate #VolunteersWeek 2023! Whether you're thinking of setting up a volunteer programme, or have been running one for a few years, this session will be valuable for all.
We will be joined by a speaker from Investing in Volunteers talking about the Investing in Volunteers quality mark which is the UK quality standard for good practice in volunteer management. If you want to assess the quality of your volunteer management and involvement, prove and improve the effectiveness of your work with volunteers, and enhance your organisation’s reputation, Investing in Volunteers provides the ideal framework.
We will also be opening the nominations for the ASDC Volunteer Award 2023, sponsored by The Marsh Trust and answering and questions about the award.
All ASDC members are welcome to this event. A link to join the call will be sent out the day before the event, if you register last minute please email admin@sciencecentres.org.uk for the link.
