This is a new post at the Cambridge University Botanic Garden, funded by HEFCE, initially for five years. The post holder will be responsible for the planning, development and delivery of a new strand of the learning programme at the Garden, which specifically focuses on further and higher education and research audiences.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate educator and science communicator to deliver this new programme to support widening participation by HE students in plant and historic plant collections and the research they support, and to create meaningful impact opportunities for researchers from Higher Education institutions, including The University of Cambridge. The post holder will act as a point of contact for FE/HE outreach and visit enquiries and work closely with the Garden's Curation team in developing onsite activities and interpretation to support the delivery of impact opportunities for research based on our collections.
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 5 years in the first instance.
