To help us continue embed a culture of participation and reflective practise, the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester are looking for a Learning and Public Programmes Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
In this role, you will lead a large team to manage the museums learning and public programme, ensuring activities, exhibitions, spaces, resources, and online experiences are audience focused and develop 'Science Capital.' You will also play a pivotal role in advocating for learning across the museum, ensuring strategic direction in the development of the museum business plan and 'Masterplan Project.'
Joining us, you will bring an expertise in informal and formal learning and understand the needs of a range of different audiences. You will be able to motivate and inspire a diverse, operational, team whilst thinking commercially in the strategic development of learning across the museum and its many projects.
