Royal Museums Greenwich (RMG) is a collection of diverse historical sites. The sites are the National Maritime Museum, Cutty Sark, the Royal Observatory, and the Queen’s House. Each of these sites has a unique identity and a common purpose to serve our communities, through sharing our collections and expertise. We are a place to explore the sea, space, art and history, and our strategy ‘Charting Our Course’ puts people at the core of our success.
The Learning Projects and Partnerships Producer will lead on creating and delivering high-quality, relevant and impactful learning experiences for schools, colleges, universities and teachers across all RMG sites (excluding Royal Observatory Greenwich). The role particularly focuses on establishing and maintaining partnerships and projects which raise the aspirations of children and young people and promote under-represented histories.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable teaching experience in a school, museum, gallery or cultural setting, proven experience working with school groups aged 4-18 years (including digital facilitation) and a proven track record of working with SEND learners and designing inclusive learning experiences. This role requires effective communication and interpersonal skills, creative thinking with the ability to inspire creativity in others, and a commitment to diversity, representation, social inclusion and access within the cultural sector.
