The National Programmes Developer will be central to the delivery of our ambitious programmes which include Our Broken Planet’s Community of Practice and the Urban Nature Projects’ Explore: Urban Nature Programme and Nature-Overheard as well as the long-term loan of our most famous dinosaur Dippy! The post will develop and pilot initiatives and content that find innovative ways of engaging new particularly youth participation. Working in partnership with museums across the UK, community, wildlife, cultural organisations and others will be essential to the success of this role. In addition, the post will work closely with several departments within the museum to strengthen the activity and its reach, in particular the Urban Nature Project (UNP) team, Learning and Audiences, Science team including the Angela Marmont Centre for UK Nature and the Digital, Communication and Marketing team.
