Do you have experience of successfully delivering complex public-facing projects on time, within budget and to a high quality? Would you like to project manage creative and innovative exhibitions and galleries projects at the Science Museum?
As Project Manager (Exhibitions & Galleries) you will work across exhibition projects and existing gallery updates as required. You will be assigned to your own specific projects and will deliver these from creative inception through to delivery, managing budgets of up to £3million and ensuring exhibitions are creative, innovative and match the museum’s strategic aspirations. You will be responsible for delivering gallery displays, including updating cases and highlight object displays, as well as general gallery improvements and refreshes.
In this role you will use effective decision-making as you manage and coordinate cross-departmental project teams and stakeholders across the Science Museum and the wider Science Museum Group to develop and deliver a cultural programme including exhibitions, immersive experiences and commissions. You will work closely with a range of internal work package managers & leaders, creative contractors and a team of design professionals to ensure that the museum’s needs are met.
