The Inclusion handbook has been created as part of the legacy of the EYU4 project, run by ASDC.
This downloadable guide brings together the evidence of impact and learning from the programme, both advocating for inspiring inclusive practice and pointing to wider initiatives from within and outside the sector that platform equity and inclusion.
The programme focussed equitable science centre / community partnerships as the foundation for all engagements, and the learnings over 3 and a half years, are distilled into five main areas that we believe have relevance beyond our distinct sector:
- Why Community Engagement? (page 11)
- Working in partnership (page 17)
- Evaluation in practice (page 31)
- Strategies for engagement (page 45)
- Catalysing organisational change (page 63)
If you would like a hard copy of the Inclusion handbook please email the team.
In addition you can find a living version of the Inclusion Handbook at https://inclusion.sciencecentres.org.uk/. Here you can also find practitioner interviews sharing recent case studies and downloadable, creative tools to capture your impact.
