Celebrating the achievements of British ESA Astronaut Tim Peake and the wonders of human spaceflight.

Tim Peake, the European Space Agency’s first British Astronaut blasted off in December 2015 to spend 6 months living and working aboard the International Space Station and returned safely to Earth on 18th June 2016.

The UK Association for Science and Discovery Centres is celebrating Tim's mission to the International Space Station and the science behind space flight with Destination Space, an exciting programme with hands on activities for families and schools at 20 science centres across the UK

The Destination Space programme explores how to get into space, what life on board the International Space station is like, and how astronauts return safely to Earth.
